Our client is a leading healthcare equipment organisation with a national footprint and a robust reputation within the healthcare sector. As the business continues to grow, they are embarking on a major ERP transformation and are seeking an Enterprise Applications Manager to lead their business applications function and help shape the future applications landscape. This role is based in office 5 days a week.
Your current role
Reporting into senior technology leadership, you will lead a small team responsible for supporting and enhancing the organisation's core business applications, with a particular focus on ERP, finance systems and integrations.This is a hands-on leadership position combining people management, business analysis, vendor management and application ownership. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners to ensure applications effectively support business operations while helping drive a future ERP implementation.Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing a team responsible for business applications support and deliveryManaging the Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) environmentActing as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendorsSupporting ERP strategy,
vendor engagement and implementation planningManaging EDI and application integration requirementsDriving continuous improvement across business systems and processesCoordinating support activities, issue resolution and system enhancementsContributing to future-state application and ERP roadmaps
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you'll bring:
Experience managing or supporting enterprise business applicationsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) ideally, or a similar ERPERP implementation, upgrade or transformation experiencePrevious leadership experience, either as a Team Lead or ManagerStrong business analysis and stakeholder management skillsExperience managing vendors and third-party partnersKnowledge of integrations, EDI and interconnected business systemsA proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomouslyExperience within healthcare, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing or product-based organisations will be highly regarded. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations would be advantageous.
