Hays Recruitment is currently looking for a reliable Gantry Crane Operator / Yard Hand to join a manufacturing

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term work in a hands-on manufacturing and yard environment.
Duties may include:

- Operating a gantry crane
- Moving and positioning materials safely around the yard and production areas
- Assisting with general yard and manufacturing duties
- Manual handling and other hands-on labouring tasks
- Following site safety procedures and work instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What we are looking for:

- Previous gantry crane or similar crane operating experience
- Valid crane operator ticket/licence
- Forklift licence highly regarded
- Manufacturing, construction, steel, precast or yard experience advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work




- Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Looking for stable, long-term employment

Hours:

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
