About the Role As a Meat Worker / Forklift Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly within a busy meat distribution warehouse. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position involving heavy lifting, forklift operation and the handling of meat products.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Operating forklifts to move, load and unload stock
- Handling and moving animal carcasses and meat products
- Heavy lifting and manual handling of products weighing up to 27kg
- Working within a refrigerated cold-store environment
- Using RF scanning guns to track and manage stock
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- General warehouse duties to support daily operations

Shifts & Pay
- Location: Marrickville, NSW
- Shift Times: 4am – 12pm
- Before 6am: $40.04 per hour
- After 6am: $33.36 per hour
What We're Looking For
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience
- Experience using RF scanning guns (essential)
- Ability to safely lift and manually handle products weighing up to 27kg
- Comfortable working with animal carcasses and meat products
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated cold-store workplace
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking repetitive, labour-intensive tasks
- Reliability and commitment to early morning starts
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
