We're partnering with a well-established financial services organisation looking for a Senior Manager to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in commercial or institutional banking, lending, credit assessment or relationship management who enjoys the client-facing side of the role just as much as the technical elements.

The Prospect
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, managing the full lending lifecycle from initial onboarding and credit assessment through to loan origination and ongoing portfolio management.
Working closely with senior executives and internal teams across Credit Risk, Legal, Finance and Financial Markets Operations, you'll play a key role in delivering tailored lending solutions while building long-term client relationships.
What You'll Be Doing

- Manage an established client portfolio, overseeing end-to-end lending activities, credit assessments and ongoing portfolio performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Assess lending opportunities,



review financial information and apply sound commercial judgement to credit decisions.
- Partner with internal Credit Risk, Legal, Finance and Operations teams to deliver lending solutions.
- Provide clients with relevant financial market and economic insights to support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve lending processes, policies and the overall client experience.
- Support and mentor colleagues, sharing your expertise and contributing to team development.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings.

What We're Looking For

- Around 5-8 years' experience across commercial lending, corporate banking, credit risk assessment or a related financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of lending processes, credit analysis, loan origination and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to build relationships and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent financial analysis, problem-solving and commercial judgement.
- Experience managing complex lending transactions and competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in delivering positive client outcomes.
- Willingness to travel across NSW as required.
