HSEQ Advisor - Get Started Right Away!

Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge as an HSEQ Supervisor with a leading civil contractor in Western Australia? If you’re driven, passionate about health, safety, quality management and the environment, and have a strong background in management systems assurance and risk management, we want to hear from you.

This is a permanent role with a highly competitive annual salary and an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth to a WA-based mine site.

We have an immediate start date for this role (next week). If you hold a current RTIO induction, meet all the requirements and are ready to start, let us know!

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Supervising and championing the organisation’s HSEQ policies and procedures to identify and mitigate health, safety, quality and environmental risks on site.
- Leading management system audits, inspections and assurance activities to ensure internal and client compliance.
- Leading incident investigations, root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations, and tracking corrective actions to close-out.
- Facilitating HSEQ components of daily pre-start meetings and supporting frontline leaders in safe work practices.
- Developing and implementing risk management processes, including risk assessments, JHAs and critical risk controls.
- Developing and delivering engaging toolbox talks and HSEQ training for all levels of the business.
- Driving continual improvement of safety documentation, procedures and management plans.
- Maintaining knowledge of, and compliance with, client (RTIO) HSEQ requirements and governing WA HSEQ legislation.




- Building and maintaining strong qualified relationships with the client to enhance the company’s reputation.

Skills/experience required:

- Current RTIO induction (essential).
- Accredited tertiary qualification in HSEQ or a related discipline (minimum Diploma preferred).
- Extensive experience in an operational HSEQ role, with a strong background in management system audit and assurance.
- Solid engineering / QHSE management systems and risk management experience.
- Experience across diverse industry sectors such as mining, civil construction, oil and gas, engineering or maritime construction.
- Hold full Australian working rights (Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Proven performance on successful projects with exemplary safety track records.
- International or multicultural workforce experience highly regarded.
