We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist to join our Occupational Health team in Werribee, VIC on a full-time basis. This is a diverse and rewarding role that combines workplace health assessments, injury prevention services, workers' compensation support, and occupational health administration.
About the Role
As an Occupational Health Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational health services to workers and corporate clients. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll help improve workplace health outcomes while building strong relationships with clients, workers, and healthcare professionals.
This role provides a great prospect to apply your clinical knowledge in a dynamic environment focused on prevention, wellbeing, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational health and pre-employment medical assessments
Complete functional capacity assessments
Perform drug and alcohol testing, spirometry, audiometry, and ECG assessments
Support workplace injury prevention and health promotion initiatives
Coordinate GP correspondence and medical follow-up activities
Arrange medical appointments and liaise with injured workers and stakeholders
Review assessment outcomes and prepare accurate reports for clients
Support candidates throughout pre-employment medicals and health assessments
Maintain clinical equipment, assessment rooms, and stock levels
Complete documentation in line with accreditation requirements
Accurately record service delivery for billing purposes
Travel to client sites as required




Promote safe work practices and report hazards and incidents in a timely manner

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications as an Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist
A commitment to high clinical and professional standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confidence using computer systems and applications
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
