About the Role
As an Acute Care Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care within busy hospital environments, supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
Duties may include:
• Delivering patient-centred nursing care within Medical and Surgical wards
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting clinical changes
• Medication administration within EN scope of practice
• Assisting with patient assessments and care planning
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Supporting patient recovery and discharge planning
• Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, medical officers and allied health teams
About You To be successful, you will have:
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 6 months recent Acute Medical and/or Surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Ability to adapt to different hospital environments
• A professional and patient-focused approach to care
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Essential Requirements
• Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 6 months recent Australian acute hospital experience
• Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
• Up-to-date immunisation and compliance records
• Full Australian working rights
• Availability across day, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
