Client & Location Information: Located in Mackay Qld, midway along the Queensland Coast between Brisbane and Cairns, its a scenic tropical coastal City in Qld. Known as Australia's sugar capital. The area is a relaxed regional hub featuring heritage streets capes, public art trails, Cultural roots and immediate access to both tropical hinterlands and island escapes. Located in one of the biggest shopping centres in Mackay.

Tuesday 29th December 2026.
Wednesday 30th December 2026.
Thursday 31st December 2026.
Hours:
Weekdays 8.30 am to 6pm 30 min break
Job Specification
The locum will be working as a sole pharmacist on weekends and as a 2nd/3RD pharmacist on weekdays, using dispense-works dispensing a low to medium script trade. There will be a tech and 4-5 FOS staff on most shifts. Duties will include general pharmacist tasks including checking DAA's and customer service and counselling. No methadone but you will be required to vaccinate if you are accredited to.
Experience Required
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience in community pharmacy as this role is customer facing (essential).
* Experience with Dispense works preferred but not essential
* Sole pharmacist capabilities for weekend shifts (essential).
*QLD Vaccination preferred but not essential.
Salary & Advantages; (paid by Ravens).
Weekdays - $75 p/hr + Super
Saturday - $80 p/hr + Super
Sunday $85hr + Super
Public Holidays $120hr+Super
Travel: (flights or mileage $1.01 per km ) ,if travelling greater than 45 minutes from your home as estimated by google, preference given to locals.
Accommodation provided ( Motel North-view Mackay. 10 min walk from the pharmacy).
