This is a fantastic prospect to develop your practical, hands-on skills working with commercial cooling systems alongside experienced technicians, building the technical expertise and confidence to become a highly capable tradesperson.

MEGT is seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our host employer, Vertiv, and gain valuable experience in the fast-growing HVAC industry. With data centres supporting the growth of cloud computing, AI and the digital economy, this is an opportunity to develop specialist skills in an increasingly key industry.

About the Opportunity

No two days are the same. You'll work alongside experienced technicians across a variety of commercial sites, gaining hands-on experience with advanced cooling equipment and critical infrastructure while developing skills that will set you apart in the trade.

You'll gain experience in:

- Advanced commercial cooling systems and associated infrastructure

- Critical power systems and related equipment

- Data centre environments and technologies

- Fault-finding, diagnostics and technical problem-solving

- Working directly with customers while developing your communication skills

- Building specialist technical skills for a long-term career in a growing industry

About You

We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, takes pride in their work and wants to continue developing their technical skills.

You'll bring:

- Current 2nd - 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship status, with up-to-date e-profiling

- A mechanical aptitude and genuine passion for the trade

- A curious, reliable and proactive approach to learning

- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on challenges

- A professional attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

- A current, valid driver's licence





- A current White Card
