IT Service Desk Officer

6-Month Contract | Melbourne CBD

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Officer to provide frontline technical support across a diverse Microsoft setting. This is an excellent prospect for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys resolving technical issues, supporting end users, and contributing to a high-performing technology team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 IT support across hardware, software, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms.
- Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Support user onboarding, offboarding, device deployment and account administration.
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune and Active Directory.
- Assist with hardware provisioning, asset management and system maintenance activities.
- Escalate and coordinate issues with internal teams and third-party vendors where required.
- Contribute to documentation,



knowledge articles and continuous service improvement initiatives.

About You
- Previous experience in an IT Service Desk, Help Desk or Desktop Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams and Intune environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests effectively.
- IT qualifications and/or ITIL certification highly regarded.
