Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this integral role will support the Purchasing & Receiving function in the hotel procurement of goods and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; + Identify potential suppliers and research their offers; + Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers; + Create purchase orders on Birchstreet and ensure they are approved; + Track orders by monitoring delivery status and ensure they are no delays; + Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reorder supplies as needed; + Review and approve invoices for payment; + Resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or deliveries; + Analyze market trends and make recommendations for cost savings to meet financial objectives; + Collaborate with other departments to identify purchasing & recieving needs; + Maintain records and keep records of all orders, payments, and received stock. **BENEFITS** + Discounts on hotel rooms including all properties within the Marriott International group,
