As a Claims Recoveries Consultant, you’ll turn your claims knowledge into outcomes for our customers. If you’re curious, love a good conversation and take pride in seeing a matter through to the end, this role is for you. You’ll find where money can be recovered after a claim, negotiate with third parties and, where a recovery allows, help return our customers’ excess.

What you’ll do

- Spot recovery opportunities across claims and take ownership of each matter from start to finish.
- Assess each opportunity for viability, cost and timing, and choose the best way forward.
- Negotiate with third-party insurers, and work with recovery agents and legal representatives to deliver strong outcomes.
- Write clear, professional correspondence that gets results.
- Keep customers informed and return their excess once a recovery is finalised, working with our finance team.
- Keep accurate, audit-ready records and help our Claims teams recognise recovery opportunities early.

What you’ll bring

- A strong understanding of claims management, ideally in property or strata claims. Experience in other insurance lines is well regarded.
- A commitment to exceptional customer service, with a friendly,



qualified manner on the phone and in writing.
- Genuine curiosity: you ask questions, chase the detail and want to understand how things work.
- Confidence in negotiation and a knack for building rapport.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement with sensitive or confidential matters.
