Field Supervisor Needed for Exploration Project in WA

Your new companyAn opportunity is available for an experienced Field Supervisor to join an established mining and exploration operation in Western Australia. This is a short-term assignment running from November through to the end of January, working a 2:2 FIFO roster.
Your current roleWorking within the exploration team, you will supervise day-to-day field activities and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and coordinating Field Assistants and field crews
- Supporting exploration and drilling activities
- Coordinating daily field logistics, equipment and supplies
- Overseeing sampling and general exploration field activities
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety checks
- Ensuring work is completed in line with site safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate field records and documentation
- Liaising with geologists, drilling crews and contractors
- Providing guidance and support to field personnel

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience within mineral exploration or mining field operations




- Previous experience supervising Field Assistants or exploration field crews
- Strong knowledge of exploration and drilling activities
- Excellent safety awareness and confidence leading crews in the field
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in remote environments
- Current manual driver's licence
- Relevant site tickets and certifications
- Ability to complete required pre-employment and mobilisation requirements
