An established Sydney property developer with a significant pipeline of major residential and mixed-use developments is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen its commercial team.
This opportunity will suit a commercially astute professional looking to transition into a developer-side environment, working closely with senior management and supporting the commercial delivery of complex construction projects.
The business is open to an established Contracts Manager or an experienced Senior Contract Administrator ready to progress into a broader commercial position.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in managing commercial risk, contractual obligations and major construction packages.
Working closely with internal legal, finance and project delivery teams, you will contribute to commercial decision-making and ensure effective contract administration across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee contract administration and commercial management across major construction packages.

Manage contract negotiations, variations and contractual correspondence.

Identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks.

Support procurement, tender evaluations and subcontractor negotiations.

Work closely with legal and finance teams on contractual matters and approvals.

Provide commercial guidance and support to the wider contract administration team.

Ensure contract documentation and commercial processes are maintained to a high standard.

Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
About You
-
Currently operating as a Contracts Manager or experienced Senior Contract Administrator.

Strong background with a Tier 1 / Tier 2 head contractor, established developer-builder or major property developer.

Experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use or similarly complex construction projects.

Solid understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial risk.

Excellent attention to detail and sound commercial judgement.

Confident communicator who works collaboratively with project teams and senior management.

Relevant construction, quantity surveying or commercial qualifications.
