Occupational Therapist (Contract) | Melbourne Metro

Location: St Kilda, Prahran & Fitzroy, Melbourne
Rate: Up to $70 per hour + Super
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Immediate start through to 24th December

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for an exciting contract opportunity supporting clients across Melbourne Metro. This role offers a combination of office-based work and community visits, with a focus on conducting home assessments and recommending modifications that support safe discharge and independent living.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct home and environmental assessments
- Assess clients' functional independence and support needs
- Recommend home modifications and assistive equipment
- Support safe discharge planning and transitions back into the community
- Complete assessment reports and documentation
- Liaise with clients, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Balance office-based administrative duties with community visits

Essential Requirements





- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience completing home assessments and functional assessments
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to commence work immediately
