An established commercial landscaping andmaintenance company is looking for a Qualified Gardener / Horticulturist to join its Maintenance Division. Operating across GreaterMelbourne and Victoria, the business has built its reputation around quality, reliability and its people,delivering professional landscape construction and ongoing maintenanceservices.
Your new role
Workingwithin an experienced maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for maintaininggardens and landscaped areas across a range of sites, with the majority of workundertaken at retirementvillages throughout Melbourne.
Startingand finishing each day from the Wantirna depot, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys workingoutdoors, has strong horticultural knowledge and takes genuine pride inpresenting gardens to a high standard.
Your day-to-dayduties will include:
Pushmowing and ride-on mowing
Edgingand brush cutting
Pruningand general plant maintenance
Blowingand site clean-up
Weedidentification and treatment
Pestand disease identification and treatment
Generalgarden, lawn and grounds maintenance
Ensuringoutdoor areas are maintained to a consistently high standard
What you'll need to succeed




We’re looking forsomeone who brings a solid work ethic and enjoys being part of a team.
Ideally, you willhave:
A recognised qualification in Horticulture or Gardening
Previousexperience in garden, grounds or landscape maintenance
Soundknowledge of plants and general horticultural practices
Experienceidentifying and treating weeds, pests and plant diseases
Confidenceusing mowing, brush cutting and general garden maintenance equipment
Goodphysical fitness and the ability to comfortably undertake manual outdoor work
Areliable, hardworking and positive attitude
Strongattention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
What you'll get in return
