Expression of interest – Volunteer Recovery Program
inTouch is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support the delivery of our Recovery Programs for migrant and refugee women and children.
About inTouch
inTouch is at the forefront of providing integrated and culturally responsive services to women from migrant and refugee communities experiencing family violence. For over 40 years, we have provided services to more than 30,000 women, children and families. Our approach is informed by our inLanguage, inCulture service delivery model and specialist understanding of the cultural, social and migration-related experiences that can shape a victim survivor’s experience of family violence and help-seeking.
inTouch is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to being an organisation that embraces a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion within our workforce and approach to service delivery. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic communities, people of all ages and LGBTIQA+ people.
Make a meaningful difference with inTouch
- Our Recovery Programs provide participants with opportunities for women and children to connect, learn, rebuild confidence, strengthen wellbeing and develop meaningful social and community connections as they move forward in their recovery.
- As a Recovery Programs Volunteer, you will play an important role in helping create a welcoming, inclusive and culturally responsive experience for participants. You will work alongside our specialist team, providing practical and administrative support that helps programs run smoothly and enables participants to engage and connect.

- Assist facilitators and staff with activities,
resources and participant engagement.
- Help create a friendly and inclusive environment that encourages connection and participation.
- Support community and social activities that complement the formal program.
- Share feedback and observations with the team to help improve participants’ experience of our programs.
- You may also have the opportunity to contribute your own skills, interests and ideas to support program activities.
Time Commitment
- Volunteers are asked to make a regular commitment across the duration of the relevant Recovery Program. The frequency, timing and duration will be discussed during recruitment and will depend on program requirements and volunteer availability.
