At Hewison Private Wealth, we’re offering an exciting internship opportunity designed to provide meaningful exposure to the financial advice profession, practical experience across different teams and the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals.

About the Internship

Our next internship program commences in March 2027 and runs for four months, with interns working three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

Throughout the program, you’ll rotate across key areas of our business, gaining valuable hands-on experience and a broad understanding of the financial planning and wealth management profession.

Your rotations will include:

- Wealth Planning Team: Learn about our financial planning advice process first-hand. Work alongside our Associates and Advisers, assisting with investment portfolio rebalancing, client meeting preparation and other day-to-day planning activities.




- Risk Planning Team: Gain insight into personal insurance and risk advice, understanding how we protect our clients’ wealth and wellbeing through tailored strategies. Assist with insurance quotes, research and meeting preparation.
- Client Services Team: Understand what is involved in implementing client advice and delivering ongoing investment services, from investment transactions and implementation through to portfolio administration.

You’ll also have opportunities to attend investment updates, market briefings, team meetings and Associate training sessions, providing valuable insight into the broader wealth management profession.

Rotation timeframes are indicative and may vary based on the needs of the business.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, curious and motivated students who are genuinely interested in building a career in financial planning and wealth management. Ideally, you’ll be:

- In your penultimate or final year of a relevant university degree.
- Genuinely interested in financial planning, investments and the wealth management industry.
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised and committed to producing high-quality work.
