We are looking for a casual Personal Care worker (PCW)/AIN available to work night shifts (22:30-6:30). As a PCW you will be responsible for the the delivery of planned individualised resident care within level of demonstrated competence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse .

Your duties may include but not limited to:

- - Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assist residents with continence care, toileting, personal hygiene, repositioning, and activities of daily living.
- Monitor resident wellbeing throughout the night and promptly report any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Respond to call bells, sensor alerts, and resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Support residents living with dementia, including monitoring and assisting residents who may wander during the night.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and resident observations.
- Assist with infection prevention and control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment.




- Handle and manage continence aids, linen, equipment, and resident care supplies.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and care teams to ensure quality care and resident safety.
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies, procedures, and aged care standards.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and resident-focused care setting.

Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in residential aged care preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused approach to care.
- Understanding of resident dignity, choice, and person-centred care.
- Current Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).

Salary

As per the Cardinal Stepinac Village, NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement 2023.
