About the Role
Join our Blackwater QLD team as a Storeperson. For this role you will deal with all customer orders preparing accurately, timely replenishing of stock, inventory control, picking/packing and ensuring all incoming/outgoing goods are recorded and checked.
This is a permanent role working on a 07 on / 07 off shift roster. (Working hours 7am – 7pm)
You must be residential to the Blackwater/Emerald area. (NO FIFO)
Please Note: For this role it is a requirement to be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident – we do not offer visa sponsorship.
Duties
- Picking stock for orders and packing goods for distribution
- Storing away products in correct locations
- Relocating inventory to fully utilise storage space
- Assisting with counter sales
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the warehouse
- Undertake warehouse receivable process
- Produce packaging as required
- Observe safety procedures when storing and retrieving inventory
Skills and Experience
- Forklift License desired
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Storeperson role
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Solid knowledge of warehousing principles including warehouse safety
- Robust work ethic and time management skills
- Willingness to support and assist team members
