The Opportunity

ARRA Group is seeking motivated 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join a major Wharf Upgrade Project at Garden Island. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a long-term infrastructure project with potential ongoing work for 6-10 years.

Project Details

- Location: Garden Island, Rockingham WA
- Hours: 6:00am – 5:00pm (11-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break)
- Roster: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work
- Duration: Long-term project with ongoing opportunities
- Start Date: June 2026

Key Duties




- Assist with the installation, maintenance and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Work alongside qualified electricians on commercial and infrastructure projects.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Complete apprenticeship training requirements and workplace documentation.
- Contribute effectively as part of a project team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Currently reside in Perth, Western Australia.
- Be a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice working towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Hold a current WA Driver's Licence.
- Hold a current White Card.
- Provide a recent National Police Clearance (issued within the last 30 days).
- Be able to successfully obtain Defence Clearance.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screen.
- Demonstrate a robust commitment to safety and teamwork.
