We are seeking someone with an interest in the building, trade and DIY markets to join our Shepparton Mitre 10 store in Northern Victoria. This is an excellent prospect to join a leading trade and rural retailer with 10 stores across regional Victoria. Develop your customer service skills and trade product knowledge in a friendly team environment, with opportunities for career advancement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Steel and trade yard sales
- Providing high-quality customer service
- Picking steel and trade yard orders for delivery
- Cutting steel to length
- Assisting with weekly & quarterly stocktakes
- Keeping the steel yard clean and well presented
To be successful, you will have:
- A current driver’s licence and forklift licence
- Sound knowledge of steel and mesh building products
- Availability to work every fourth Saturday
- The ability to work effectively in a team
Experience operating an overhead gantry crane or providing customer service in trade supplies is advantageous but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
