Speech Pathology Clinical Head - Neurology, Dysphagia & Voice | Sydney

You'll lead clinical practice in neurological conditions, dysphagia and voice disorders across Optimum's Speech Pathology team, while keeping a clinical caseload of about 24 hours a week. The rest of your time goes into mentoring and supervising Speech Pathologists, and building and delivering education for clinicians. It suits an experienced Speech Pathologist with a recognised specialty who wants to develop other clinicians without leaving clinical work.

CLINICAL PRACTICE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist
- Extensive experience with neurological conditions, dysphagia and voice disorders
- Advanced assessment and intervention skills
- Experience mentoring, supervising or educating clinicians
- A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current SPA membership and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
