The Opportunity A leadership role has opened up with an established operator of business-critical data centre facilities across Australia. You'll take single-point operational leadership across three sites, with a transparent path to grow into a wider remit as the portfolio expands. What You'll Be Doing
- Providing operational oversight and leadership across multiple data centres, acting as the senior on-the-ground leader
- Directly managing and supporting the Facilities Managers at each site, lifting consistency in operational standards, technical rigour and performance
- Coaching, guiding and, where needed, challenging site-level teams using your own deep operational knowledge
- Partnering with senior leadership and executives on operational reporting and performance




- Playing a key role in future site expansion planning as the business grows What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience running a data centre facility: the power and cooling plant (UPS, generators, chillers, switchboards) as well as the teams around it
- A proven people leader who can coach and lift a sizeable team through site and facilities managers, setting clear standards and holding people accountable
- A background in facilities management or critical infrastructure, ideally from an engineering or technical path
- Comfortable being genuinely on-site and hands-on, based from a data centre rather than a corporate office
- Willing to be mobile across Sydney sites and travel to Melbourne periodically
