An exciting opportunity to take ownership of the Australian marketing function for a leading global investment manager.

We are partnering with a highly regarded global investment management firm to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to support its growing Australian and New Zealand business.

This is a unique prospect to become the firm's first dedicated marketing professional in Australia, taking ownership of local marketing initiatives while working closely with senior distribution stakeholders and an established regional and global marketing team.

With a focus across both wealth and institutional markets, this position offers an excellent balance of strategic input, creative collaboration and hands‑on campaign delivery.

The Chance

Reporting to the Head of APAC Marketing, you will play a key role in developing and delivering marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, support client engagement and drive business growth across Australia and Recent Zealand.

Working closely with the local distribution team, you'll have the autonomy to shape marketing activity for the Australian market while leveraging the expertise of specialist marketing teams across APAC and globally.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute local marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives aligned with regional business priorities.
- Partner closely with senior distribution stakeholders to support the wealth and institutional businesses.
- Take ownership of local marketing campaigns, client events and engagement initiatives.
- Manage local marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with regional specialists across digital, product marketing, content, events and communications.




- Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver effective PR and brand initiatives.
- Ensure marketing activities and communications meet local regulatory and compliance requirements.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded marketing professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Approximately 7–10 years' marketing experience, including experience within funds or asset management.
- A strong understanding of the Australian wealth and intermediary distribution landscape.
- Demonstrated experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns, events and communications.
- Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation, collaborating with regional and offshore stakeholders.
- An understanding of marketing compliance requirements within Australian financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to partner with senior business leaders.
- A proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take ownership.
