We currently have multiple Boilermaker vacancies on fixed plant sites across QLD, including FIFO/DIDO roles and local work.
We're looking for experienced Boilermakers to join our teams in hands‑on fixed plant maintenance, fabricating, repairing and replacing structural and wear components across a range of sites.
This is a great opportunity for a boilermaker from a Mining, Quarrying, Mineral Processing or Heavy Industry background who is looking for varied work and the chance to develop their skills across different plant and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating, repairing and replacing structural steel, chutes, hoppers, bins and platforms
- Installing and replacing wear liners and other wear components
- Carrying out shutdown and planned maintenance work on fixed plant
- Attending breakdowns and completing repairs promptly and safely
- Welding and cutting to required standards and procedures
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and job specifications
- Working to isolation and lockout procedures and site safety systems
- Working closely with fitters, riggers, supervisors and operations to minimise downtime
What You'll Need
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Cert III or equivalent)
- Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance in mining, quarrying, mineral processing or heavy industry
- Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, stick, as applicable)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Valuable problem‑solving skills and attention to quality
- Current driver's licence
- Experience with shutdown work (desirable)
