The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Assistant Accountant role will be broad and will include (but not be limited to):
- Month-end reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts including the P&L; and Balance sheet
- Year-end audit preparation
- Bank, balance sheet and trust account reconciliations
- Process improvements
- Back up to the AP, AR and trust functions
Your Background
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will need to meet a majority of the following criteria:
- A few years of working experience at the Assistant Accountant level performing reconciliations and month-end support
- Be degree qualified and part or fully qualified with CA / CPA studies
- A forward-thinking mindset with an eye for making process improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team-focused mentality with excellent attention to detail
