You'll be working in existing Melbourne homes, upgrading households from old gas heating to energy-efficient reverse cycle ducted systems under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. This is a dedicated installation role.
Key responsibilities
Removing and decommissioning existing gas ducted heaters
Installing new refrigerated ducted systems (indoor units, outdoor units and pipework)
Running and replacing ductwork in roof spaces and under floors
Installing outlets, returns and controllers
Commissioning systems and walking customers through their new system
Leaving every home clean, safe and tidy
About you
Minimum 4–5 years' experience installing ducted air conditioning, ideally in existing homes
Relevant trade certificate (e.g. Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Services Plumbing)
Valid driver's licence
White card
Comfortable working in roof spaces and at heights
Gas disconnection licence/registration and restricted electrical licence highly regarded
Respectful and professional when working in customers' homes
High levels of self-motivation, with good time management and attention to detail
National Police Check required before starting
