Clinical Nurse Consultant - Vascular Access Melbourne, VIC

We are the people who give possibilities purpose

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

Ready to take your PICC expertise beyond a single hospital and influence vascular access practice across Victoria?

You've built your career supporting patients, mentoring clinicians and developing expertise in vascular access, infusion therapy and CVAD management.

Now there's an opportunity to take that experience further.

Join a global MedTech leader and help healthcare professionals across Victoria improve vascular access outcomes through education, clinical training and best-practice implementation.

Whether you're currently working as a PICC Inserter, Vascular Access CNC, Nurse Educator or Clinical Nurse Specialist, this role offers the opportunity to share your expertise on a broader scale while remaining closely connected to the clinical environments you're passionate about.

At BD, possibility isn't an idea. It's what we do. We are the Makers of Possible.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you'll work closely with healthcare professionals across Victoria, delivering education, training and clinical support across BD's Medication Delivery Solutions portfolio.

You’ll become a trusted clinical partner to customers,

helping hospitals implement best-practice vascular access and infusion therapy techniques while supporting clinicians through training programs, product evaluations and clinical education initiatives.

This is more than a nursing role. It's an opportunity to become a recognised clinical expert, educator and advocate for best-practice vascular access across Victoria.

Your Day-to-Day

No two days will be the same.

One day you could be delivering PICC education to a hospital vascular access team. The next, facilitating clinical workshops, supporting product evaluations or partnering with healthcare leaders to improve vascular access practices and patient outcomes.

You will:

- Deliver clinical education, training and technical support across BD's Medication Delivery Solutions portfolio
- Coordinate and facilitate PIVC and CVAD education programs across Victoria and Tasmania
- Provide PICC, CVAD, Midline, Port and Infusion Therapy education to healthcare professionals
- Support customer product evaluations, clinical trials and implementation programs
- Deliver in-service training, workshops and simulation-based education sessions
- Build solid relationships with vascular access clinicians, nurse educators and key opinion leaders
- Partner with Sales teams to support customer engagement and clinical adoption
- Remain current with emerging evidence,

guidelines and best practice relating to vascular access and infusion therapy
- Attend relevant conferences, education programs and professional events
- Provide insights on clinical trends and customer feedback within the marketplace
