Richglen Maintenance Services is preparing for a busy year of shutdown work in 2027, with upcoming opportunities for experienced Electricians, Boilermakers, Fitters and Riggers across the Bowen Basin resource industry.
With potential back-to-back shutdowns commencing in early January, this is an opportunity to join our team, work across multiple projects and build ongoing employment opportunities throughout the year.
UPCOMING SHUTDOWN OPPORTUNITIES
- Shutdown 1: January – April 2027
- Shutdown 2: May – June 2027
- Shutdown 3: August – September 2027
Additional shutdown opportunities may also become available throughout the year.

We are looking for experienced tradespeople with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively within a shutdown setting.
TICKETS & REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain):
- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- Relevant Trade Qualification (where applicable)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Relevant licences and competencies for your trade
Boilermakers: Air-fed welding helmets are required. A Glencore L2 Weld Test or ISO 9606 qualification is advantageous.
