Hindustan Imports is afamily-owned processor and packer of food ingredients (including seeds, grains, nuts, herbs and spices) for thefood service and retail grocery industry.
We are seeking an experienced production assistant / machine operator for immediate start to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria.
Key responsibilities
- Operating food processing and packing equipment, including vertical form-fill-seal machines.
- Pre and post cleaning of equipment to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness
- Some manual repetitive lifting up to 25kg
- Work closely with other members of the production and warehouse teams
- Other general duties connected with food processing
Qualifications and skills
- Experience working in food industry processing /packaging equipment's
- Sound mechanical abilities and basic computer literacy
- Attention to detail and positive communication skills
Remuneration:
Casual role, leading to permanent full time
38 hours per week
