ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the PD Manager, you’ll lead the Detailing team while staying on the tools yourself. You’ll set the pace, coach the team and take ownership of the quality of every interior that comes through the department.

Leading the team:

- Allocating daily work and coordinating the team to meet sale, collection and delivery deadlines
- Coaching, training and motivating team members, including inducting new starters
- Leading by example on best-practice detailing and maintaining a consistently high standard
- Completing final quality checks so every unit is showroom ready
- Taking responsibility for the work area, chemical handling and storage, and safe work procedures




- Coordinating equipment maintenance and escalating issues to the RV Delivery Manager

Hands-on detailing:

- Vacuuming and cleaning floors, carpets, cupboards and interior surfaces
- Cleaning, polishing and detailing appliances, fittings, windows and doors
- Deep cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchens
- Deodorising interiors and leaving every vehicle fresh and inviting
- Preparing caravans and motorhomes for sale, customer collection and delivery
- Flagging any product damage or defects noticed while detailing

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- Previous detailing or cleaning experience (essential), with RV, automotive or caravan detailing highly desirable
- At least 1 year’s experience leading or supervising a small team (essential)
- A sharp eye for detail and genuine pride in the quality of your work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical handling
- A positive, can-do attitude and the confidence to give feedback and coach others
- Current, unrestricted QLD driver’s license
