Vanguard Logistics are currently seeking an industry experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Sydney team, based in Mascot. The successful candidate will have prior experience in international freight forwarding, preferably in import customer service however if you’re from an operations background and looking for a change, training can also be provided.We have onsite parking and offer one day work from home on completion of probation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Customer Service Representative, you will be required to provide the highest level of Customer Service and ensure all options are researched to establish maximum profitability when preparing quotations and arrange import and export shipments on behalf of customers.

Essential duties & responsibilities as follows:

- Quoting Clients
- Liaising with overseas offices to arrange movement of customers shipments
- Creating and distributing order tracking reports
- Creation and distribution of customer import tariffs
- Provide support to Business Development Managers as needed
- Providing operations with required documents and rates
- Arranging third party shipments

WHATS REQUIRED

- Demonstrated experience in international freight forwarding customer service and/or operations




- Robust relationship building experience with excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Well organised with the ability to multitask
- High level attention to detail & problem-solving skills
