From early-stage cost planning and ECI involvement through to detailed tender submissions, you’ll have the opportunity to influence bid strategies, build strong industry relationships and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed cost estimates, cost plans and tender submissions for a range of projects, including negotiated and repeat business, ECI opportunities and competitive hard dollar tenders.




- Partner with project teams and key stakeholders to assess opportunities, establish pricing approaches and develop commercially sound bid strategies.
- Analyse design documentation, project scope and commercial risks to identify opportunities, manage cost exposure and deliver accurate pricing outcomes.
- Leverage established relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and maintain a strong understanding of market conditions.
- Prepare bills of quantities, subcontractor trade packages and supporting tender documentation.
- Share your knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing estimating team.
- Build effective working relationships across the business to support project delivery, identify new opportunities and achieve broader commercial objectives.

About You

You’re a commercially minded Estimator who combines strong technical capability with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You’re comfortable managing the detail while also understanding the bigger picture, and you enjoy working collaboratively to deliver quality outcomes.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Demonstrated estimating experience across multi-residential and commercial construction projects.
- A sound understanding of cost planning,



negotiated and repeat work, ECI processes and hard dollar tendering.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to assess project risks, identify pricing opportunities and develop well-informed, competitive tenders.
- Established relationships with subcontractors and suppliers across relevant trades and markets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A willingness to support and mentor others while contributing to continuous improvement within the estimating function.
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (highly regarded).
- Experience using CostX or comparable estimating software.
