We’re looking for an experienced, caring Senior Dental Assistant / Nurse Lead to join our team across West Perth Dental Centre and our affiliated clinics.

If you take pride in running a smooth surgery, enjoy supporting your colleagues, and help patients feel comfortable and cared for, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time or part-time prospect, working 3–4.5 days per week, with the potential for more.

Your Role Will Include

Leading chairside assisting across a wide range of procedures, including restorative, preventive, surgical, and crown and bridge treatments.





Supporting and guiding other Dental Assistants with daily workflow, surgery setups, and clinical standards.

Overseeing surgery readiness, including setups, pack preparation, instrument flow, and end-of-day resets, so every day runs smoothly.

Developing, maintaining, and reinforcing infection control protocols, sterilisation processes, and clinical compliance.

Assisting with Primescan scanning, taking X-rays where appropriately certified, and clinical photography as required.

Coordinating stock levels and ordering materials so the team has what it needs.

Working closely with clinicians and practice management to improve efficiency, communication, and patient flow.

Lending a hand to the front office when needed—we work together as one team.

Building rapport with patients and helping create a calm, welcoming environment where they feel at ease.

Experienced in dental assisting, preferably with at least three years’ experience, and comfortable running a smooth surgery while supporting junior colleagues.

Confident giving direction, training others, and helping the team follow consistent procedures and systems.

Familiar with D4W, or comfortable learning new systems.

It Would Be a Bonus If You Have

A Dental Assisting qualification and confidence with imaging workflows.

Familiarity with QIP accreditation.

Experience with CEREC and digital dentistry, including Primesc…(truncated for brevity)
