Take over an established book of 80–100 quality clients averaging $10K–$20K in fees. National firm backing, with a real path to partnership.
Most senior advisers spend years building a book like this. Here, it’s already built.
A respected national wealth management firm is looking for a Senior Financial Adviser to join its Brisbane office and take over an established book of 80–100 clients. Fees average $10K–$20K per client per year. The book is a well-rounded mix, including a strong base of quality retirees, as well as families and business owners.
You get the backing, brand and resources of a national firm, plus the client relationships and autonomy of a smaller practice. The clients are engaged, the referrals keep coming, and a full onshore support team handles the rest, so you can focus on advice. There’s also a genuine pathway to partnership.
What’s in it for you
A book you’d be proud to own:
80–100 established, engaged clients with average fees of $10K–$20K
$150K–$170K+ base plus super and a performance bonus.
The package is negotiable for the right person.
A real partnership pathway:
a clear route into leadership and ownership
No cold calling:
a steady flow of warm referrals from accountants, existing clients and qualified partners
Full onshore support:
a dedicated paraplanning and client services team, so your time goes to clients
National firm backing:
the systems, resources and reputation of an established national firm behind you
Brisbane-based,
with occasional client visits to the firm’s Rockhampton office (all travel costs covered)
The work
You’ll give strategic, holistic advice to retirees, pre‑retirees, families and business owners, covering:
Retirement planning and retirement income strategies
Superannuation and SMSF strategy, including contributions, accumulation and retirement phase
Investment portfolio construction and ongoing management
Estate planning and wealth transfer
Trust structures and multi‑entity advice
Wealth protection and risk insurance
You’ll build on long‑standing client relationships, run annual reviews and work closely with clients’ accountants and lawyers. You’ll also turn warm introductions into long‑term clients. As the Brisbane practice grows, you’ll help shape where it goes next.
You’ll bring
Solid experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner managing your own client base
Strong technical knowledge of retirement planning, super and SMSFs, and investment portfolios
Current listing on the Financial Advisers Register (FAR), with qualifications that meet the ASIC education standard
A track record of building trust, retaining clients and converting referrals
Confidence working alongside other professionals
The ambition to own part of the business, not just work in it
Why now?
A book of this quality, fees at this level, national firm support and a real path to partnership rarely come together in one role. If you’re thinking about where you want to be in three to five years, this is a conversation worth having.
