About the role
You’ll support small and medium-sized businesses through accounting, taxation and practical business advice. Your work will include preparing and reviewing financial statements,
business activity statements and income tax returns, undertaking tax planning and helping clients understand their financial position and opportunities.
You’ll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, support colleagues and contribute ideas to the firm’s direction.
About you
You’re a qualified accountant with public practice experience and are either a Chartered Accountant or willing to work towards this qualification. You’re interested in future partnership and bring:
Experience managing client work independently and meeting deadlines.
Strong accounting and taxation knowledge, including BAS, income tax returns and tax planning.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Commercial awareness and a practical approach to solving business problems.
Proficiency in Xero and related cloud-based accounting platforms.
Initiative, sound judgement and a collaborative approach.
An interest in mentoring others and developing your leadership capabilities.
