Life Medical Imaging is an independently owned and operated medical imaging provider on the Central Coast. We're continuing to grow, with our new flagship clinic opening in Gosford, bringing advanced diagnostic imaging technology and specialist services to the local community.

We're looking for a friendly, organised and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Gosford team and help us deliver the high standard of service our patients and referrers have come to expect.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be one of the first people our patients meet, playing an important role in making their experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible.

Working alongside our radiologist, radiographers,



sonographers and broader clinical team, you'll help keep the clinic running smoothly while providing professional and compassionate patient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries
- Coordinating appointments, bookings and patient registrations
- Answering calls and assisting patients and referring practices
- Processing payments, Medicare claims and billing
- Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Supporting patient flow and working closely with the clinical team

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and can stay organised when things get busy.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in medical reception, preferably within diagnostic imaging or a similar healthcare environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence managing appointments, billing and patient enquiries
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A calm, friendly and professional approach
- A willingness to support your teammates and contribute to a positive workplace
- Experience with radiology information systems, particularly Comrad, would be an advantage but is not essential.
