We are looking for both Educators and Lead Educators to join our team

Edge Early Learning Beaudesert is in the process of transitioning to new ownership, so it’s a great time to join us Be part of our next chapter as we continue to care for our loyal community, but evolve our service in a new partnership with Nido Early School.

As our Lead Educator, you'll mentor and support your team, create engaging learning experiences, work alongside an experienced Centre Director and Educational Leader, and help shape a positive centre culture.

About the Role:

- Lead, coach and mentor educators.
- Deliver engaging educational programs aligned to the EYLF.
- Build robust relationships with children and families.
- Create safe, inclusive learning environments.
- Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children’s Services Employee Level 4+)
OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience
- Diploma or Cert III for Educator roles.

Experience (within a long day care setting)

- Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
- Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching:



3-4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
- Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
- Confidence mentoring other educators
- Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
- Passion for creating engaging learning environments

Compliance Documentation

- Working with Children Check
- National Child Safety Training Foundations and Advanced (GECCKO)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates

- Availability to work opening and/or closing shifts is required.
