About the Role

Australian Staffing Agency (ASA) is seeking reliable and hardworking Mail Sorters and Handline Operators to join busy mail house and production environments across Scoresby, Braeside and Bayswater.

With the Christmas ramp-up underway, our clients require additional staff to support increased mail volumes. We have ASAP starts available for candidates who are ready to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Previous experience in Australia Post, mail houses, direct mail, postal services or production environments is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Manual mail sorting and processing

- Labelling, rework and quality checking

- Matching mail and collating documents

- Folding, inserting, packing and preparing mail for dispatch

- Checking documents and mail items for accuracy

- Assisting with general handline and mail production duties

- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines

- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work environment

What We're Looking For





- Previous experience in mail sorting, handline, mail houses, Australia Post or production environments is highly regarded

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods

- Reliable transport to and from work - essential

- Valid Police Check or willingness to obtain one - essential

- Reliable attendance, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Flexibility to assist across sorting, labelling, rework, matching mail and collation duties

- Working Holiday Visa holders welcome, provided they have valid Australian work rights and are available for the Christmas ramp-up

Highly Desirable Experience

- Australia Post mail processing or postal sorting

- Mail house and direct mail campaign production

- Handline, matching mail, collation and document preparation

- Labelling, rework and quality control

- High-volume repetitive production work

- Fulfilment, packing or dispatch
