About the Role

Shifts commencing: 6:00am to 6:00pm | 4 on 4 off

What You’ll Do

Based in Cannonvale (Whitsundays), we are seeking an Attendant for our Transfer Station in the area.

You will be a motivated team player with strong communication skills, excellent customer service, positive attitude and great safety record – we can teach you the rest

Your responsibilities will include:

- Direct traffic within the transfer station and provide general information to customers
- Control the placement of waste and recyclables being deposited by customers, to maximise resource recovery
- Maintain all buildings, grounds, roadways and landscaping - clean and tidy condition at all times
- Driving a backhoe and HR truck onsite
- Undertake general labouring and administrative duties as directed

What You’ll Bring

Comfortable with a Set Roster - 6am - 6pm | 4 on 4 off





Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude

Enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on environment

What You’ll Need

Undertake a company pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening

Provide a five-year traffic history at interview.

HR Truck and Backhoe licence advantageous - don't have one? We can train you

A proven safety record and knowledge of safety systems and procedures

Ability to work in a small team or autonomously
