O'Neill's Design & Construction – Docklands VIC

You'll be responsible for growing O'Neill's presence in the Melbourne commercial fit-out market. You'll develop new relationships, strengthen existing ones and identify projects where O'Neill's experience and approach can make a difference. Your network might include project managers, property owners, asset managers, commercial agents, architects, designers, tenant representatives and businesses looking to create or improve their workplaces. You'll be as comfortable starting a new conversation as you are maintaining a relationship over the long term. You'll understand that winning work is about listening, following through and bringing the right people together at the right time.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial fit-out, refurbishment and building upgrades
- Build relationships with project management firms, property owners, asset managers, agents, architects, designers and potential clients
- Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, from initial introduction through to tender and project award
- Work with estimating and delivery teams to assess opportunities and prepare compelling submissions
- Represent O'Neill's at industry events,



client meetings and networking opportunities
- Keep informed about market activity, upcoming projects and industry trends
- Work with the leadership team on business development priorities and growth strategies

About you

- Experience in business development, relationship management or a similar role within commercial construction, fit-out, property or a related industry
- An understanding of the Melbourne commercial property and construction market
- Established industry relationships and the confidence to build new ones
- A proactive approach to finding opportunities and following them through
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with estimating, project delivery and leadership teams
- A genuine interest in people, property and creating excellent spaces
