About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Proteomics Product Manager to lead and grow our proteomics portfolio including industry-leading brands Akoya Biosciences (spatial proteomics), Hawk Biosciences (spatial biomarker validation) Bruker Beacon (single cell functional analysis), and Quanterix (ultra-sensitive biomarker detection). This is an exciting opportunity for a scientifically qualified professional to combine technical expertise with strategic sales and marketing, driving revenue growth and market expansion across Australia. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, building key customer relationships, and delivering impactful marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Quanterix, Akoya Biosciences, Hawk Biosciences and Bruker Beacon product portfolios Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and margin targets Build deep expertise across key product ranges and their respective markets Identify market trends, opportunities, and key customer segments to guide business strategy Engage with existing and prospective customers (independently and alongside the sales team)
to drive commercial outcomes Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) Plan and deliver seminars, trade shows, and promotional activities Collaborate with internal teams to create impactful marketing collateral Provide product demonstrations and support technical discussions with customers Work closely with Field Application Scientists to support customer needs Manage service contracts, renewals, and scheduling Maintain accurate CRM records and manage customer quotations Contribute to pricing strategies and profitability improvements Identify and evaluate new vendor opportunities aligned with the proteomics portfolio About You Qualifications Degree in Biological Sciences Experience Minimum 3 years' industry sales experience Skills & Attributes Strong understanding of the research and life sciences market Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly Proven sales track record and marketing capability Strong work ethic, self-motivated, confident, highly organised, and engaging skilled presence Ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Commercial mindset with the ability to articulate product value propositions, ability to deliver customer-focused solutions that drive results Why Join Us?
