An Associate Lawyer role in a small, busy Brisbane law firm. You'll run your own files with support and work directly with the Principal, gaining real client contact and responsibility from day one.

Key responsibilities

Run commercial and property matters, including contracts, leases, business sales and conveyancing

Run disputes and debt recovery matters, from letters of demand through to Magistrates and District Court and QCAT

Act in family law matters, including property settlements, parenting arrangements and financial agreements

Advise employers and employees on contracts, terminations, workplace disputes and Fair Work matters

Advise clubs, athletes and sporting bodies on contracts, governance, integrity and disciplinary matters

About you

Admitted in Queensland and holding a practising certificate

2–5 years' PQE in one or more of commercial, litigation, family or employment law

An interest in sports law (experience a plus)





Strong drafting skills and attention to detail

Commercial judgment and a practical, client-focused approach

Able to manage your own workload in a small-firm environment

$90,000 – $110,000 + superannuation

Close mentoring from an experienced Principal

Diverse work, including sports law, with a clear path to Senior Associate

Milton office, close to the CBD and public transport
