The Opportunity
An industry leader experiencing significant growth, our client is seeking a Commercial Manager Operations to provide financial leadership and commercial support across its regional operations, driving operational performance and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Manager Operations will be responsible for providing commercial support to the operations team whilst ensuring accurate, timely and insightful reporting, budgeting and forecasting across operations and the division. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering monthly management reporting and analysis
- Leading the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets with detailed commentary and variance analysis
- Partnering with regional and operational managers to drive operational and financial performance
- Partner with the c-suite to actively identifying performance and commercial improvement initiatives
- Providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making across manufacturing operations
- Enhancing financial controls,
compliance and governance frameworks across operational sites and processes
- Supporting audit processes, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Driving improvements in reporting, forecasting and budgeting methodologies
This role requires a commercially astute, hands-on finance leader who combines strategic insight with operational expertise and thrives spending time partnering with teams across multiple sites to drive business performance.
The Expertise

- CPA/CA Qualification with demonstrated experience within a agricultural/manufacturing or possibly FMCG operations environment
- Previous experience business partnering operations teams
- Distinguished management reporting and cost accounting skills

- Superior commercial acumen and business partnering skills
- You are a hands on commercial leader with the ability to be 'in the detail'
