We are seeking a passionate dynamic and experienced allied health professional to join our well-established team as a Rehabilitation Consultant for Actevate Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals on their path to recovery and rehabilitation. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility to work from our modern office or to take advantage of our remote work options.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation plans for clients.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services
- Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Documenting and reporting on client progress to ensure the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
- Depending on your allied health background, there are opportunities to complete pre-employment health assessments, manual handling training and functional assessments.
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improving rehabilitation processes
- Contributing to the growth and development of the rehabilitation services offered by Actevate Pty Ltd
What we're looking for
- Degree in Occupational Therapy,
Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting
- Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective rehabilitation solutions
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
