Your Role:

You’ll partner with business units to analyse financial performance, forecast with confidence and lift financial management capability across the region.

Your Responsibilities:

- Research and analyse financial performance using Excel, Technology One Finance and SMS to understand the drivers and long-term impacts on fiscal position
- Proactively analyse cost drivers to understand course profitability and drive out inefficiencies
- Advise business units on financial management, including budgets, forecasts, the financial implications of business decisions and employee expenditure




- Build strong working relationships with business units to explain financial and non-financial performance and support strategies that improve results
- Establish and maintain efficient financial management reporting that supports regional and business unit budget objectives and KPIs
- Deliver ad hoc management reports and analysis to all levels of Regional Management to supplement existing automated reports
- Complete budgeting, forecasting and month end processes on time, including general ledger reconciliations
- Contribute to better business processes through strategies, information and training materials that build financial management knowledge across regional staff
- Support regional and organisation-wide initiatives as directed by your manager
- Promote and model the values of Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven Management Accounting experience (essential)
- Solid Excel skills and experience with Technology One Finance
- Confidence advising and influencing non-finance stakeholders
- Solid budgeting, forecasting and month end experience
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations
