3rd / 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic – Light Vehicle
Rapid Tune Underwood is looking for a reliable 3rd or 4th year Light Vehicle Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

You’ll work alongside qualified mechanics, building your skills in servicing, fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs across a variety of makes and models.
About the role
- Carry out logbook servicing and scheduled maintenance appropriate to your training and experience.
- Assist with fault diagnosis and general mechanical repairs.
- Inspect vehicles and clearly record findings.
- Develop your skills in brakes, suspension, cooling systems and other mechanical repairs.
- Work safely and keep your work area clean and organised.
- Continue your apprenticeship training and work towards completing your qualification.
What we’re looking for
- Currently completing the 3rd or 4th year of a Light Vehicle Mechanical apprenticeship.
- Practical workshop experience in servicing and general repairs.
- A current driver’s licence, with a manual licence preferred.
- A willingness to learn, follow instructions and ask questions when needed.
- Reliability, good communication and pride in your work.
- The ability to work well with the team.
