Jamaica Blue Kotara is looking for a Barista / Cafe All Rounder to join the team.
The successful applicant will:
be passionate and have barista experience in a fast paced cafe
have a solid understanding of barista concepts including extraction, dosage and latte art
be able to work independently on the coffee machine and handle busy rushes by themselves
be willing to help run coffees, clear tables, serve on the register and do dishes
experience with kitchen short order cooking is a bonus
The position requires:
commitment to being reliable for ongoing regular shifts with limited unavailabilities (uni students will need to be able to commit to the shifts when uni goes back)
available to work Nov, Dec and Jan with no request for time off during this period
4 - 5 shifts per week including one weekend day as required
versatile working hours as the cafe opens 7:45-5:15 daily
