Sydney

We're on a mission to be a Force For Good, through our People, Products and Purpose at Nuix. This extends to our People. We're fiercely passionate, love working at pace, thrive in ambiguity, live, and breathe outside of the box, and above all are good humans. We're determined to make a positive difference in the world, whether through our solutions which help the top companies, governments and agencies find the truth and combat illegal activities, or through our people who care about contributing and giving back both within, and outside, of Nuix. We are a Force For Good. We're selective about who comes on board, and you should be too.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Principal Product Manager, Enablement, you will own the shared platform services that every Nuix Neo product builds on, so product teams ship faster and customers get a consistent experience. These services are relied on by a large and growing set of the world’s highest-profile organisations across eDiscovery, Investigations, Data Governance, and Forensic Investigations. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role across SaaS and on‑premise or air‑gapped deployments, for a results‑oriented product manager who ships at pace in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment. In addition to Nuix customers, the product teams who build on your services will also be your customers. You will drive a consistent and defensible experience across Nuix Neo, and partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing to deliver foundations that accelerate every product on the platform. You will bring an informed perspective on AI‑native practices and ensure the way you discover, prototype, and deliver reflects what "great" looks like as AI reshapes how software is built.

Location

This position will be based in our Sydney office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining days of the week.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Shape and drive the strategy for Nuix Neo’s platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market demands, and the broader Nuix Neo platform vision, in close partnership with the Principal Product Manager, Enablement.
- Translate customer and capability‑team needs, compliance requirements, and technical constraints into a roadmap that drives consistency, removes duplicated effort across products, and compounds over time.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to understand how leading enterprise platforms approach shared services, administration, and auditability, and identify opportunities for Nuix Neo to differentiate.

Platform Capabilities

- Treat the central UI component library as a platform service — partnering with the Design team, who own the Nuix Design System, to drive adoption across Neo products, close gaps, and reduce front‑end effort for every team.
- Own platform‑wide features such as Global Settings (licensing, certificates, secrets, and user and language preferences configured once and cascaded across applications)

and Unified Audit History (a centralized, tamper‑evident record of user activity across Investigate, Automate, Enrich, Discover, and more) that customers rely on for compliance and defensibility.
- Drive SaaS‑first delivery of platform capability with a clear path to Neo Local and air‑gapped environments, supporting platform convergence and the migration of Workstation customers to Nuix Neo.
- Explore and validate how AI‑native patterns - such as AI‑assisted audit analysis, intelligent configuration defaults, and AI‑ready design system components - can enhance platform capability, and build that thinking into the roadmap rather than bolting it on.
- Own product success metrics anchored to business outcomes (e.g., design system adoption, reduction in duplicated engineering effort, audit coverage across products, admin time‑to‑configure, support ticket volume) and use them to make prioritisation trade‑offs between new capability, technical debt, and platform stability.

Cross-Team Prioritisation

- Arbitrate competing asks from multiple product verticals and sequence platform work against their roadmaps.
- Decide when to build, buy or extend.
- Define the APIs, contracts and documentation that make services easy to adopt, and measure adoption, not just delivery.
- Drive cooperative decisions on platform service priorities and sequencing, agree cross‑vertical trade‑offs with capability PMs, and escalS pillar‑level conflicts.

Customer Engagement & Discovery

- Act as the voice of the customer: gather signal through direct interaction with key clients — particularly administrators, compliance, and security stakeholders — to identify pain points, prior
